Viognier is one of the rarest and most seductive whites in the world. At its finest in Condrieu and the tiny appellation of Château-Grillet, it produces wines of extraordinary aromatic intensity: peach blossom, apricot, violet, warm stone. It is full-bodied but never heavy; opulent but never blowsy. It asks nothing of you. It simply fills the room. A Certain Charm is a diptych — two panels, one presence. The front portrait commands the space. The back reveals what she keeps for herself: the composed exit, the bare shoulder, the gold ribbon. Together they capture the full complexity of a wine that is too much and exactly right.

Every WiWwaW portrait begins not with a canvas or a lens but with a moodboard — a private, intuitive assembly of words, colours, textures and images that together form the wine's character translated into a woman. The moodboard for A Certain Charm travels with the finished work to its collector: a window into the creative process, a second layer of the work itself.
